Tangier, a vibrant coastal city in Morocco, a cultural crossroads between Africa and Europe, will be the pulsating heart of an incredible musical experience as it hosts the International Jazz Day 2024. The program, running from April 27th to April 30th, will feature legendary artists and jazz enthusiasts from every corner of the globe, with ceremonies, performances, and live jam sessions broadcasted by televisions in over 35 countries.
The climax will be the Global All-Star Concert on April 30th, held at the majestic Palais des Arts et de la Culture, where under the direction of the illustrious jazz pianist Herbie Hancock and the American composer and arranger John Beasley, world legends will perform, including Dee Dee Bridgewater (United States), Marcus Miller (United States), Kurt Elling (United States), JK Kim (Republic of Korea), Yasushi Nakamura (Japan), Magnus Lindgren (Sweden), Richard Bona (Cameroon), Moreira Chonguiça (Mozambique), and the Moroccan Abdellah El Gourd. Just a 50-minute drive away, guests can stay at La Fiermontina Ocean, a project of respectful and supportive hospitality, amidst deserted beaches, untouched nature, and magical sunsets
