A Dialogue Between Cultures, Shared Values and Visions

At the heart of La Fiermontina Ocean's mission lies a vision that goes beyond hospitality: building bridges between different worlds, fostering encounters between cultures, traditions, and people.
This dream takes concrete form through collaboration with the Fondation Orient Occident, an organisation that has long been committed to promoting intercultural dialogue and sustainable development across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.

What Do We Do?

Through the active involvement of the communities in three villages – Dchier, Mezgalef and Chaghouah – concrete actions have been carried out, such as the channelling of water over 7 km, the expansion of the school, teacher training, and the creation of women’s cooperatives.

In the village of Dchier, the hotel has built 30% of its accommodation facilities, choosing to share its journey with the local community.
Today, La Fiermontina Ocean employs more than 50 people from the surrounding villages, professionally trained over a two-year period.

Our human commitment goes beyond traditional financial aid: women from the area welcome hotel guests into their homes for breakfast, offering an authentic cultural exchange experience.

The actions taken represent a pioneering model, designed to promote autonomy and social empowerment for local communities.

Together, we share fundamental values: inclusion, human dignity, memory, and beauty as a tool for social transformation. Our partnership is born from a shared desire to offer new opportunities to the young people and women of Morocco who might otherwise dream only of leaving for Europe in search of a better life.

Thanks to collaboration with Fondazione Oriente Occidente, La Fiermontina Ocean supports and participates in cultural, artistic, and solidarity-based initiatives, including:

Educational and training programmes for local communities in northern Morocco, with a particular focus on young people and women.
Experiential journeys for guests, which tell the story of the land through a lens of respect, authenticity, and human connection.
Support for the professional training of young people at the Foundation’s centre in Larache.
