La Fiermontina Ocean is an eco-retreat that explores the hidden corners of north-western Morocco, preserving the authenticity of the land and nearby communities through a major community development and hospitality project.
Driving five kilometres along a dirt road, through a dense grove of cork oaks, guests eventually reach green hills that open out into olive groves and orchards, with soft sand dunes and a blue ocean visible on the horizon.
Set in unspoiled surroundings, delightful suites and villas are beautifully integrated into nature, clad in local stone with private gardens, large windows and a swimming pool on the oceanfront terrace. Nearby, you can opt to enjoy a unique experience by staying in one of four stone houses that were built using age-old techniques, sat overlooking the verdant valley in the small village of Dchier, which is home to the Hammam, Café Maure and the Casa del Cadì.
Drift off to sleep gazing at the starry sky through the floor-to-ceiling windows; awaken to the gentle sound of the waves. Our Dune, Maïssa and Sirine Pool Suites, plus the Juba House are ideal for relaxing in harmony with the surrounding vegetation and landscape.
Both Akhazane and Ayry - each a three-hundred square metre villa - are special places to stay. Both villages feature a spacious kitchen and large living room, three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and dedicated service staff.
Part of La Fiermontina Ocean is situated within the Douar of Dchier, allowing travellers in search of a unique experience to immerse themselves in the local community, participating in a direct exchange with this region and its inhabitants. Dchier is home to a total of fifty-five families, and travellers become part of the community when they stay in one of La Fiermontina Ocean’s four stone village houses.
