30th Anniversary of the Fondation Orient-Occident 1

30th Anniversary of the Fondation Orient-Occident

30 years of commitment to integration, intercultural dialogue, and support for the most vulnerable. The Fondation Orient-Occident, founded in Rabat in 1994 by Antonia Yasmina Filali, celebrates three decades of dedication and community service, marking an important milestone in its mission to provide assistance and protection to migrants and refugees to promote their inclusion; to promote the integration of young people into the workforce through vocational training; to encourage cooperation between cultures. Through innovative programs and concrete projects, it has contributed to the growth and well-being of people, facilitating the social and work integration of the most disadvantaged and promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women. To celebrate this important anniversary, the Foundation has organized a series of special events and initiatives, including art exhibitions, conferences, workshops, and cultural performances, reflecting the organization's ongoing commitment to promoting diversity and solidarity. Starting from May 23, with an event at the Foundation's headquarters in Rabat, at Avenue des FAR, CYM Massira, for the screening of the documentary “L’Appel,” a touching account of the desperate journeys of migrants, followed by a debate on the "issue" of migration with important speakers, and then the fashion show of the Laboratoire-Atelier Migrants du Monde, where Moroccan women and migrants work together, to celebrate diversity and resilience.
