Located on the Bou Regreg River, the Grand Théâtre de Rabat is the largest theatre in Africa and the Arab world. Designed by renowned architect Zaha Hadid, the theatre is shaped like a wave and features a 1,800-seat hall, an open-air amphitheatre that can hold up to 7,000 people and an experimental rehearsal space. It’s also home to a restaurant that can accommodate 350 people and has beautiful green areas, workshops and a library. As part of its reopening, it will host orchestral performances, ballets, operas and concerts.
