LECCE | Lumina World

There’s a moment when reality bends into wonder. It happens in Lecce with Lumina World, running until June 21, when Parco di Belloluogo transforms into a submerged universe of light, sound, and imagination. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 6:30 PM to midnight, a portal opens to an immersive journey where everything is interconnected: the sea, cultures, and magic.

Crossing the entrance means flipping your perspective: the sky becomes the ocean, and visitors walk among glowing jellyfish, pulsing corals, and giant creatures that seem to come alive. In the Coral Tunnel, you encounter dolphins, seahorses, and tropical fish, handcrafted works illuminated by LEDs that evoke bioluminescence. Live shows light up the evenings: from the enchanting Mermaid’s Cave to the evocative Nights of the East, and video mapping on the Tower. Then there’s “Illusion 3D,” where the human body merges with light in a dance that challenges perception.
